We just thought we would clear up some misconceptions about the Coach Factory stores. First, merchandise from Coach's own factory stores are authentic, new and 1st quality. They are not seconds but rather overstock, in which the company just made too many or discontinued items and inventory from last season. There is no such thing as a Coach Factory second.  You can register your new Coach bag just like any Coach bag.

Beware of someone selling Coach bags that have all kinds of flaws, like poorly aligned signature on signature bags, poor stitching and poor or no serial number and creed on the leather patch inside. Also Coach does not make signature bags with signature lining. You will sometimes even hear someone stating they are flawed because they are seconds and came from a factory store. That should tip you off right there. Chances are they are counterfeit/knockoffs. They think that if they blame the flaws on the idea that they are Coach factory seconds, people will believe them and sadly enough, sometimes they do. Hope this helps.
