Fendi History

In 1925 Edoardo and Adele Fendi opens a small workshop in Rome. There they designed and manufactured beautiful furs and leather goods. Soon after that the business grew and became well known outside of Rome.
The Fendi daughters joined the company and brought in new energy and modern ideas, with their mothers encouragement. The family opens the first Fendi shop on via Borgognona which is a small street of craftman where important names open up shops.
Fendi starts to work with a young designer, Karl Lagerfield, who is becoming well known in Paris. The double FF logo becomes Fendi's symbol of style. In 1968 the Fendi bags get discovered in Rome and make their first appearance in New York. Fendi's furs and leathers are doing so well that they start a new line of products and accessories such as Fendi jeans, gloves, glasses just to name a few.
Today Fendi has boutiques worldwide.
